The money, explained
How clip payouts work
No guessing and no vague promises. Every campaign publishes what it pays before you post, and this page walks through exactly how a view turns into rand in your bank account.
Payout tiers are published before you post
Every campaign has a tier table: a list of view counts and the rand amount each one pays. It's on the campaign page, visible before you join. When your clip's verified view count crosses a tier, that amount is credited to your wallet. Cross a higher tier later and you get the difference.
- Tiers are fixed for the life of the campaign
- You can see the total pot and how much of it is left
- A campaign can't quietly reduce what it pays
Views are verified by a human
We check the view count on your live post before releasing money. That's slower than an automatic counter but it's why campaign owners trust the numbers and why bot views don't get paid. If you have analytics screenshots, you can attach them when you submit to speed things up.
The holding period
Once a tier is paid it sits in a short hold before becoming withdrawable. The hold gives us room to catch deleted posts, edited clips and inflated view counts. Your wallet shows the two balances separately: available now, and pending verification or hold.
Getting paid out
Verify your identity once — South African ID and a selfie — then withdraw from your wallet. Payouts go by EFT to a South African bank account or by PayShap. The minimum withdrawal is R50 and a small withdrawal fee applies.
- Minimum withdrawal R50
- EFT or PayShap to a South African account
- One-off identity verification, then it's a two-tap job
What the pot means
A campaign can only ever pay out what's in its pot. If several clips perform, the pot drains in the order tiers are cleared, so posting early on a well-funded campaign matters. The campaign page shows live how much of the pot is still available.
Questions people ask
When do I get paid after posting?
After your views are verified and the short hold clears. The campaign page shows the current status of each of your clips.
Why wasn't my clip paid?
Usually the views haven't been verified yet, the clip broke a campaign rule, or the pot was already claimed. Each clip shows its own status and reason.
Is there a minimum payout?
Yes, R50.
What fees come off?
A small withdrawal fee. There's no joining fee and no monthly cost for clippers.
Can a campaign run out of money mid-way?
Yes — a pot is finite. That's why the remaining pot is shown on every campaign page.
