Is Clippify legit?
Fair question — plenty of 'earn from your phone' platforms in South Africa are not. Here's how Clippify works, where the money actually comes from, and what we don't promise.
Where the money comes from
Every rand paid to a clipper was first paid in by a campaign owner — a creator or a brand who wants their content distributed. That money sits in the campaign pot before any clip is posted. There's no recruitment, no downline, and no payment that depends on signing other people up.

It's free for clippers
There's no joining fee, no subscription and no course to buy. The only charge clippers ever see is a small fee when withdrawing. Campaign owners pay a platform fee on the pot they fund. That's the whole business model.
How views are verified
A human checks the view count on the live post before money is released, and payouts sit in a short hold afterwards. It's slower than an automatic counter, and deliberately so — it's what stops bot views draining a campaign owner's pot.
What we don't promise
We don't promise you'll earn a fixed amount, and anyone who does is lying. Your earnings depend entirely on views, and views depend on the clip. We also can't pay you for a clip that breaks a campaign's rules, gets deleted, or was posted on an account you can't verify you own.

How to check for yourself
Open any live campaign without signing up: the pot, the payout tiers, the rules and the deadline are all public. Read the terms and the refunds and disputes page. Then decide.

Is Clippify a scam?
No. Payouts come from pre-funded campaign pots, clippers pay nothing to join, and every campaign's terms are public before you post.
Do I have to pay to start earning?
No. Joining and posting are free. A small fee applies only when you withdraw.
Why does verification take time?
Views are checked by a person on the live post, and payouts hold briefly afterwards, so campaign owners aren't paying for fake views.
What if my clip is rejected?
You'll see the reason on the clip. If you think it's wrong you can dispute it, and the dispute is reviewed.
Is my personal information safe?
Identity documents are used only for verification, and handling is covered by our POPIA-compliant privacy policy.
