A fair marketplace
Trust & Integrity
Clippify ZA only works if both sides trust the numbers. Here is exactly what we consider fair, what we consider cheating, and what happens when something looks off — in plain South African English.
What counts as a view
We track views directly from the public platform (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, X). We only count views that the platform itself confirms as real. We don't count autoplay loops, paid bot traffic, or views from accounts the platform has flagged as suspicious.
The 48-hour verification window
Every view spends 48 hours in verification before it becomes a withdrawable rand. During that window we double-check view counts against the platform, look at the spread of countries, devices and watch times, and remove anything that doesn't look organic. Once a view passes verification it cannot be taken back.
What we consider cheating
Buying views, using viewbot panels, paying for engagement pods, re-uploading the same clip from multiple accounts, posting copied work from other clippers, embedding clips on auto-refresh pages, or anything else designed to inflate numbers. We catch this with pattern detection across the whole marketplace, not just one clip.
What happens when we find cheating
First offence: the affected clip's earnings are reversed and the clipper gets a warning explaining what we saw. Second offence: a 30-day suspension and a manual review of every past payout. Third offence: a permanent ban and the wallet balance is forfeited. Reversed earnings from fraudulent views are credited back to the campaign owner's Clippify wallet (no bank refunds).
How disputes work
If you think we got it wrong — clipper or campaign owner — you can open a dispute from the clip or campaign page. A real human on our trust team in South Africa reviews every dispute within 3 business days and writes back to you in plain English explaining the decision.
What campaign owners are protected from
You only pay for verified views. If a clipper games their numbers, those views never touch your pot. Unused budget at the end of a campaign is credited back to your Clippify wallet automatically — reuse it for your next campaign. Your funds sit in escrow until views are verified, and money only ever moves between Clippify wallets; we do not refund to bank accounts.
What clippers are protected from
Campaign owners cannot reject a clip after it has earned verified views. They cannot change the payout tiers once a campaign is live. They cannot cancel a campaign and keep the money for views you already delivered. If a campaign breaks our rules, we take it down and you still keep what you earned.
Why we publish all of this
Because a marketplace built on hidden rules ends up favouring whoever knows the rules best. We'd rather lose a cheater than lose a clipper's or a brand's trust.
