1. Who we are
Clippify ZA is a South African performance-based clipping marketplace. We connect campaign owners (anyone who wants their content distributed) with clippers (anyone who edits and posts short-form video to their own social accounts). We are not your employer, agent, or representative — we are the marketplace and the escrow.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older, or 16+ with verified parental consent, and resident in South Africa to earn or pay out on Clippify ZA. One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. We may suspend any account we believe is fraudulent, duplicate, or operating in bad faith.
3. How money moves
Campaign owners load a budget into escrow. We deduct a 12% platform fee on funding. Clippers earn from the pot as their clips hit verified view tiers. Verified earnings move to a clipper's wallet after the 48-hour verification window. Only clippers can request a withdrawal from their wallet to a bank account or PayShap (2.5% processing fee, minimum R50, KYC required). Campaign owners cannot withdraw funds to a bank account — any unspent budget, cancelled campaign, rejected campaign, or reversed transaction is returned as Clippify wallet credit that can be reused for future campaigns.
4. What you may not do
Buy views, use viewbots, run engagement pods, upload other people's work, re-upload the same clip across multiple accounts, post content that breaks South African law, or use the platform to launder money. Doing any of these voids your earnings and may result in a permanent ban.
5. Content and rights
Campaign owners retain ownership of source content. By launching a campaign you grant clippers a limited licence to edit and repost the content as specified in the campaign rules. Clippers retain ownership of their own edits but grant the campaign owner a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use those clips for their own marketing.
6. Disputes
Any dispute is first raised through the in-platform dispute system. Our trust team (based in South Africa) responds within 3 business days. Unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
7. Liability
We make no guarantee that any campaign will go viral or that any clipper will earn a specific amount. The platform is provided as-is. Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees we earned from you in the 90 days preceding the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to every active user at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date counts as acceptance.
