What is clipping?
Clipping is cutting short highlights out of someone else's long video — a stream, podcast or interview — and posting them on your own TikTok, Reels or Shorts account. The creator or brand pays you per verified view.
Do I need followers to get paid for clipping?
No. Clippify campaigns pay on views, not on follower count. A new account with one clip that travels earns more than a big account that posts nothing.
How much can you earn clipping in South Africa?
It depends on the campaign's payout tiers and how far your clips travel. Each campaign lists exactly what it pays at each view milestone before you join, in rand.
Is getting paid to clip legal in South Africa?
Yes. You're posting clips with the creator's permission, under the rules of their campaign, and you're paid for the views those clips earn. You are responsible for declaring your own income to SARS.
How do I get paid?
Earnings build up in your Clippify wallet as views are verified. After the hold period you request a withdrawal and we pay it to your South African bank account or PayShap number.
