How to become a clipper

Create your Clippify ZA account with your email or phone number. There are no follower requirements. You don't need a portfolio. You don't need to prove anything upfront.
Browse live campaigns
Open Discover Campaigns. Each tile shows the brand or creator, the payout per 100k views, the platforms allowed (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels, X), and how long the campaign runs. Pick one that matches the kind of clips you like making.
Tap Join — source files unlock
Joining is one click. You instantly get the raw footage, brand assets, watermarks, and the campaign owner's do/don't sheet. Read the rules — campaigns that get rejected almost always missed an obvious rule.
Make the clip on your phone
Use any editor — CapCut, InShot, VN, Premiere Rush. Keep it vertical 9:16 unless the rules say otherwise. Subtitles matter — most South Africans watch with the sound off on data.
Post to your own account
Upload to your own TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels, or X account. Use the hashtags and tags the campaign asks for. Don't repost the same clip across accounts — that gets flagged as duplicate.
Paste the link into Clippify
Back on the campaign page, paste your post URL. We start tracking views within 15 minutes. You'll see live view counts and your progress to the next payout tier from your dashboard.
Watch the views climb
Every clip on your dashboard shows a live progress bar to the next payout tier and a velocity rating — 1 to 5 stars based on how fast your views are growing. The faster you deliver, the better your clipper score.
Cash out from R50
Once views pass the 48-hour verification window, the rands move to your verified balance. Withdraw to PayShap (arrives in minutes) or EFT (usually next business day). 2.5% withdrawal fee, no monthly fees.
