For campaign owners

Run your first campaign

A solo musician with R1,000 and a brand with R50,000 are both welcome here. This guide walks you through everything you need to launch — from your first upload to your first viral clip.

01

Decide what you want clipped

A new song. A streaming highlight reel. A podcast episode. A product launch. Anything you've made or are about to make. You'll need either the raw video file or a public link to it.

02

Set your budget — minimum R500

Your budget sits in escrow as a pot. Clippers earn from this pot as their clips hit verified view tiers. You only pay for views that actually happen. Unused budget is credited back to your Clippify wallet when the campaign ends — reuse it for your next campaign (no bank refunds).

03

Set your payout tiers

Use the recommended tiers (R300 per 100k views, scaling up to R15,000 at 5M views) or customise. The platform enforces a fair minimum so your campaign attracts skilled clippers — undercutting drives quality down.

04

Write clear rules

What to include in captions. What hashtags. What to avoid. What watermark or logo to overlay. Three to five rules is plenty — more than ten and clippers skip your campaign.

05

Choose approval mode

Auto-approve sends every clip live the moment it's posted (fastest growth). Manual review lets you approve each clip before tracking begins (more control, slower). You can switch at any time.

06

Fund and launch

Pay your pot via card, EFT, or wallet balance. We add a 12% platform fee on top — that's what keeps Clippify running. The moment funding clears, your campaign is live and South African clippers can join.

07

Watch the live creator feed

Your dashboard shows every clip submitted in real time — views climbing, payout progress, and a velocity star rating for each clipper so you can see who's delivering. Tag your best clippers as favourites.

08

Pay only for verified views

Money only leaves your pot when a clip's views pass the 48-hour verification window. View fraud, bots, and duplicate uploads are filtered out before they ever touch your budget.

A realistic example

You're a Kick streamer with a R5,000 budget. You launch a weekly highlights campaign. Within 24 hours, 12 South African clippers join. Within 7 days, your stream highlights have racked up 1.8 million verified views across TikTok and Shorts. Your pot drops to R0, you've paid roughly R2.78 per thousand verified views — and 12 clippers have made between R150 and R1,500 each.
